Assumption College has had a long- standing interest in meeting the challenges of malnutrition in the adopted communities.
In Boni, we have formed a working relationship with the Kaagapay Boni Association (KBA). Our staff and volunteers conduct trainings on nutrition values to the parents who are tasked to prepare lunch menus for the malnourished children. While Assumption College and other sponsors mostly fund the program, the parents share ten percent (10%) of the total cost of the meal. We serve lunch to 1 to 10 year- old malnourished children.
