Dr. Carmen "Pinky" Valdes Ph.D is the Associate Dean of Assumption College San Lorenzo with a doctorate from GTU / U.C Berkeley. Pinky is also the Creative Director of METTA and our in-house composer. She has published 3 original CD's. Her music was featured in 3,999, 100 Milyon Miracles, Romeo and Juliet, Voice of Hope and several pieces from the METTA Tour 2008-2009.

Pinky was one of the first two recipients, the other being Ana Valdes-Lim, of the International Marie Eugenie Award for her role as project head and composer in "Assumption Together" during the canonicalization of St. Marie Eugenie in June 2007.
