Application Requirements

Any qualified individual with a bachelor’s degree from a college or university may apply for Admission to the Graduate School. The original transcript of records from the university/college graduated from is required.

Applicants shall be evaluated on the ff. criteria:
a. A cumulative undergraduate quality point average of at least 85% or 2.0 and above in the undergraduate level
b. Letters of recommendation or NBI clearance
c. Average rating in the official entrance standardized test scores
d. Satisfactory interview with the Graduate School Dean
e. English proficiency test for foreign students.

The applicant maybe required to make up for any deficiencies in her/his academic background by completion of specified courses.

A minimum of 18 units in the discipline in which the applicant intends to do graduate work is required.

The 30-unit Educational Certificate course applications follow regular graduate school application procedures.

A probationary admission maybe given to an applicant whose academic undergraduate record and standardized test scores do not meet the graduate school’s standards. If the applicant is accepted on probation s/he will be placed under academic probation for a period of one semester and maintain a grade of 2.0 or higher in each subject enrolled.The student’s status will be re-evaluated at the end of the semester to determine if the probationary status is lifted.

If the applicant does not hold a bachelor’s degree on the program s/he is applying for her/his acceptance to the program will be considered probationary status until all required 18 undergraduate units have been taken and passed. S/he may not take any of the basic and major courses offered in the Graduate Program until all pre-requisites have been taken.
Admission Requirements​​​
The following documents shall be secured by the admissions office prior to enrollment. These documents shall be endorsed to the records office with an accompanying signed receipt at an appointed time:

Original PSA birth certificate or marriage certificate (https://psahelpline.ph/)

Honorable dismissal and transfer credentials

Complete records of collegiate grades certified by the school registrar

Transferees, dual citizens, and foreign citizens follow admission requirements as stated in the undergraduate application procedure

When accepted, applicant must submit chest X-ray, CBC, and blood type test results (done by applicant’s physician or laboratory of choice). A physical exam conducted only by the Assumption College physician is also required prior to enrollment.

3. Admissions Head will evaluate papers upon completion of requirements
4. Schedule interview with the Department Chairperson
